What the browser miner does with your wallet address and what information may pass through the site, pool, and hosting infrastructure.

Last updated: October 28, 2026

In briefThe miner does not save your wallet address in this site's browser storage. If you choose to mine with Bytecoin Network, your address is sent to its pool for mining login and may be sent to its API for account statistics. Site and network infrastructure may process connection data when delivering the service.

Information handled by the miner

Wallet address

The address you enter remains in page memory while the page is open; the web app does not intentionally save it to localStorage. If you start mining, it is included in the pool login request. For Bytecoin Network connections, the miner also sends the address to the pool's account-statistics API while retrieving earnings information. The pool and its service providers process these requests under their own practices.

Mining activity

Hashrate, share counters, runtime, and activity messages are displayed in your browser. Mining protocol messages, shares, and connection metadata are sent to the pool as needed to provide pool mining. The pool determines what it records and how long it retains it.

Theme preference

The site uses browser localStorage for the display theme preference (bytecoin-pool-theme). It does not store your wallet address or mining history there.

Site and infrastructure requests

When you load this site, your request necessarily passes through the web server and any network services used to deliver it. Those systems may process technical data such as IP address, requested URL, timestamps, browser or device information, and connection details. WebSocket connections are routed through a restricted bridge to the selected pool. The operational logging and retention practices of hosting and network providers may vary; this page does not claim that such infrastructure data is never processed or retained.

The interface does not load analytics, advertising, or chart libraries from third-party CDNs. The site fetches public pool statistics, and wallet-specific pool statistics only when applicable as described above.

Third-party services

Mining pools and network providers are independent services. When you use them, they receive the information required to operate the connection and provide mining or account data. Review the relevant provider's privacy terms before using it. A custom pool has its own operator and data practices.

Security and your choices

  • Enter only a public receiving address. Never enter private keys, recovery phrases, or wallet passwords.
  • Mining is opt-in. The browser does not start hashing until you choose Start mining.
  • Stop mining and close the page to end the browser session's mining work.
  • Clear this site's local storage in your browser to remove the saved theme preference.

Policy changes

This notice may be revised as the site changes. The date at the top indicates the latest revision. This summary describes the current implementation and is not a statement about a pool or hosting provider's independent practices.
