- Get a Bytecoin walletUse a wallet provider you trust and copy its public receiving address. Never enter a seed phrase, private key, or wallet password on this site.
- Open the minerGo to the miner dashboard and paste your public Bytecoin address in the wallet field.
- Choose pool difficultyPort 3333 is the low-difficulty option; port 5555 is intended for mid-range hardware. A custom WebSocket pool is available under Advanced settings.
- Set a CPU limitStart with one or two threads. More threads can raise hashrate but also increase CPU usage, power consumption, and heat.
- Start and monitorPress Start mining to connect. Watch the live hashrate and share counters, and press Stop whenever you want to end the session.
Account statistics
For Bytecoin Network pool connections, the miner can request account statistics using the wallet address you entered. The address is sent to the pool API for this request. A statistics outage does not necessarily mean mining has stopped; check the miner's connection status and activity log.
Accepted shares and payouts are governed by the pool's current rules, thresholds, and fee schedule. A displayed hashrate is not a guarantee of accepted shares or payment.
Custom pool notes
Custom endpoints must be compatible with the miner's Bytecoin pool protocol. On this HTTPS site, the endpoint must use wss://; insecure ws:// connections are blocked by browsers. Only use pool endpoints you trust.
Troubleshooting
It won't connect
- Check that the pool is online and the selected port is available.
- Use a secure
wss://endpoint for custom pools on this site. - Try reloading the page and starting again; inspect the activity log for connection details.
Hashrate stays at zero
- Wait briefly for the pool job and workers to initialize.
- Keep the tab open; background tabs may be throttled.
- Confirm your browser supports WebAssembly and Web Workers.
The device gets hot or slow
Stop mining and allow the device to cool. Next time, use fewer CPU threads or avoid mining on devices without adequate cooling.
